It’s that time of the year.. the Department of Transportation and Parking is gearing up to open the new parking year!

Additionally – here are a few important notes regarding the new permit year:
- New Permit Year begins on August 1, 2023, and runs through July 31, 2024.
- Permits will be assigned to eligible employees based on years of state service.
- Commuter Alternative Program (CAP) registration opens on July 24.
- Flex permit prices continue for employees who work on campus 3 days or less per week.
- Hourly parking available at metered locations, including Rams Head Deck, Morehead Lot, and Raleigh Road Visitor lot.
After the survey closes, all requests that are received thereafter will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
All employees will be notified of their assigned parking lot no later July 29. I will also be sending a reminder on how to register your vehicle for your virtual permit.
