We are a week away from the first day of classes – Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024! Please upload your syllabus to the MJ Faculty group on Canvas, underneath the assignment group Spring 2024 Syllabus. Syllabi are due before the start of classes.
Here’s a video tutorial on how to upload documents to Canvas: Upload a File in Canvas
Assignment Instructions:
- Please upload a syllabus for EVERY class you will teach in the spring.
- You must use this naming convention for us to upload it to the Park Library website: CourseNumber.Section-InstructorLastName-SemesterYear.pdf
- Example: 100.1-Olah-Summer2021
We will be checking for:
- The course is listed as MEJO instead of JOMC
- A grading rubric (what each graded element is worth, participation can’t be more than 20%) A grading grid (what constitutes an A, an A-, a B+, etc. Note: the university doesn’t recognize A+ or D-)
- Graduate courses will use the H, P, L and F grading scale.
- Our boilerplate info includes the honor code statement, accommodations, accreditation, etc. A week-by-week schedule of class activities.
- A listed exam, presentation, course debrief, etc. during the final exam period. Information on how your classes will operate remotely if needed.
