Total Wellbeing Expo: Wednesday, March 13 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Fetzer Hall

Dedicate time to your total wellbeing — from the inside out! This annual spring event welcomes all employees to:

  • Enjoy a free pizza and salad lunch in the TIAA Food & Fun Zone.
  • Practice life-saving skills with hands-only compression CPR.
  • Unwind with a chair massage, learn a new recipe at a cooking demo or get moving with a fitness class.
  • Find your calm with a mini-mindfulness session and pet therapy dogs.
  • Join the fun during the Bouncing Bulldogs Jump Rope performance.
  • Learn about local health and wellness resources available at Carolina and in the community with free blood pressure screenings and the UNC Police medicine drop to safely dispose of your unused medications.
  • Visit with your favorite mascot, Rameses!

Virtual wellness opportunities will be available starting Monday, March 11.

Volunteer opportunities: Get a free T-shirt when you sign up to volunteer for a one-hour shift between 7:50 a.m. and 3 p.m. the day of the event.

Participation in the Expo is free, and attendance is considered work time for staff, who should seek advance approval from their supervisors to attend.

The Expo is supported through partnerships with Campus Recreation, Carolina Dining Services and the National Kidney Foundation Serving the Carolinas and made possible by our premier sponsor, TIAA, and gold sponsor, Aetna, along with the UNC Benefits, Leave Administration & Total WellBeing teams.

Full event details will be shared in an email later this month.
